The Board is faced with a budget shortfall of nearly $2 million. While the administration has produced some options for review, the current board is showing caution at any quick vote and debating what will be best for the district.
To add complexity to this, one of the current board members lead the charge a few years back to "Vote No" on a school levy that would have avoided this. They were confident that the solution was not in additional funding. It will be interesting to see their input and vote given their history on the subject.
Let's all hope that the District makes only the cuts nessicary to reduce the impact to the students and maintian operations as best as they can.
